Hannah Allison (pictured) has helped lead the University of Texas' volleyball squad to six straight wins – the Longhorns' last loss was against Oklahoma way back on Sept. 28 in Norman – and was named Big 12 Player of the Week. This was the first time the sophomore setter has received the award. Ninth-ranked Texas hosts the 14th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones this Friday with tickets going fast. If you can't catch the game in person, which you should if at all possible, it'll also be airing live on the Longhorn Network (assuming your cable provider carries TLN).

Vs. Iowa State: Fri., Oct. 28, 8pm. Gregory Gym, $4-7. www.texassports.com.
