Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam

Whoever came up with this idea deserves a medal. Or at least a complimentary cold one. Roots-rockers Reckless Kelly have assembled their friends from the worlds of music, sports, and the media for a fun – if sloppy – celebrity softball game followed by a live concert in the center field of the gorgeous Dell Diamond (it's worth the price of admission alone to tread on such hallowed baseball ground). Performing and playing this year are Reckless Kelly, of course, as well Hayes Carll, Micky & the Motorcars, Bo Bice, Charlie Robison, and more. New this year: Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used gloves, bats, cleats, and other baseball-related items to support the Reckless Recycling Program. Bring a blanket to chill out on during the concert portion of the event, and apply sunscreen generously. Reckless or not, this event is going to happen, rain or shine.
