SXSWclick announces finalists

Peterson's Savings and Loan
"Peterson's Savings and Loan"

The online- and mobile-shorts arm of South by Southwest Film named 15 finalists in five categories for its fourth annual competition earlier this week. Winners will be announced on Aug. 1, after the jury – including Kal Penn, Bob Odenkirk, Doug Pray, Craig Zobel, Michael Tully, A.J. Schnack, Agnes Varnum, and Violet Blue – deliberates and decides. In addition, online public opinion voiced by the likes of you and me will decide the Popularity Contest audience award. Among possible prizes are high-end software, Mac hardware, and slots at SXSW Film 08. To view the films, vote, and find more information, see www.sxswclick.com.
