Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund Grant Recipients

The Austin Film Society's Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund has announced its 2006 awards to 18 "emerging film and video artists in the state of Texas ... whose work shows promise, skill, and creativity." Panelists Allison Anders, Sean Farnel, and Kate Horsfield decided on the recipients earlier this week, and grants – which total $125,000 – will be awarded in September, at which point TFPF will have awarded $675,000 to more than 200 people since 1996.
