:'Brokeback Mountain' to bring McMurtry

Reclusive Archer City novelist, essayist, bookstore keeper, and screenwriter Larry McMurtry will attend a Dec. 13 screening of Brokeback Mountain (scheduled to open in Austin on Dec. 9), which he adapted from a story by Annie Proulx. The event, taking place at the Arbor Cinema @ Great Hills and presented by the Austin Film Society and South by Southwest. For admission information, see www.austinfilm.org.
