Executive Chef Mat Clouser, sous chef Zack Northcutt, and pastry chef Callie Speer are turning out impressive small plates loaded with flavor, with a variety of international influences and an emphasis on housemade everything. The bathrooms are faint-worthy.
It's no wonder this place has crowds, who could resist an Ex-Girlfriend roll (crab, avocado, spicy tuna, halibut tempura, spicy mayonnaise)? The crab cakes are huge, almost four inches in diameter, and mostly crab, bound by a light panko crust. The cucumber salad cools us off just in time to appreciate the tempura menu.
The noise level and the prices are both steep here, but you'll enjoy aged beef, fresh seafood, and great salads in an elegant setting.

You'll find gorgeous views of Downtown, a nicely chosen wine list, lots of wines by the glass, and an inventive kitchen staff creating delicious food. We can’t resist the muscular beef tenderloin with blue cheese atop roasted baby potatoes.
