Second Annual Robot Fashion Show

Robots rocked the runway on Saturday, April 4, as Barnes & Noble Arboretum hosted the Second Annual Robot Fashion Show. UT Senior Design students created the outfits for the 2-ft. tall NAO automatons – everything from a camo hoodie to a bridal gown to a UT T-shirt (natch) – and members of the Anderson & Eastside Memorial High School Robotics Teams programmed the bots to show off their handcrafted threads for the crowd, which included special guest Daniel Esquivel of Project Runway Season 11.
