A little bit of Rat Pack style on South Lamar, the HighBall was Alamo Drafthouse boss Tim League’s first attempt at running a real bar and became a regular hangout for locals and visiting filmmakers. The stylish gin joint will reopen in the fall, relocated next to the Alamo, but without its vintage bowling alley.
