Austin has 27 commercial radio stations, of which 23 are owned by just five companies. Two of those five – Amigo Broadcasting and Garcia/Dynamic Broadcasting – have basically divided up the local Spanish-language market between them; the rest of Austin's biggest stations are part of one of three national empires:
