Like most acts in the Red Dirt scene, Fred Andrews & Honeybrowne never met a cliché they couldn't beat to death. From the disc's title to "Rock It All Night," "Let the Music Play," and "Bring It On," the local quartet treads tired ground with enthusiasm yet without a hint of irony. One plus: the hooks and harmonies of "Beautiful Waste of Time" are polished and ready-made for George Strait.
