Songs From a Hillside Living Room

In 1974, these recently relocated Los Angelenos would have fit nicely between the Eagles and Poco. Four songwriters and honeyed harmonies give Stonehoney's local debut plenty of promise, but its brand of country tilts closer to Nashville's contemporary rock sound and is therefore too formulaic to bear repeat listening. (Saturday, April 18, 3:45pm, Discovery Stage; Sunday, April 19, 1pm, Campground Stage.) **
