Locals like the Arm, Black Angels, Smog, Ethan Azarian, and Bavu Blakes play mano-a-mano with Japan's Peelander-Z, Minneapolis' Dosh, San Diego's Castanets, and Seattle's Crooked Fingers. Not only is this comp balanced with punk, rock, hip-hop, and ambience, it puts pride in the word "Austinite." Not every city gets this lucky.
