Smashing Pumpkins

Earphoria (Virgin) In 1993-94, you couldn't swing a dead bat in the UT dorms without hearing Siamese Dream pumping out of some crevice. Bootlegs were prevalent then, which explains 1994's promo-only live CD Earphoria, soundtrack to the Vieuphoria VHS, now on DVD. Eight years later, it gets a proper release; it's basically live versions of all the Siamese favorites, sprinkled with a pair of acoustic cuts and a few toss-away unreleased tracks. Serviceable, but vastly inferior to the amazing Drown bootleg.
