Anderson Community Development Corporation/ SCIP II Housing Program

Affordable housing in Austin ain't what it used to be. Now, even professional working folks need help affording a home. The federally subsidized SCIP II program, administered through developer Gene Watkins' Anderson Community Development Corporation, is building 100 two-story homes east of I-35 that will be reasonably priced for those with qualifying incomes. Applications now being accepted for houses available this fall.
