Central Texas Speedway

Halfway between Austin and San Antonio, this 3/8th-of-a-mile stock car and kart racing facility is also an off-the-beaten-track home to country, Tejano, and conjunto. With 3,200 seats and space for another 20,000 guests, the speedway complements races with non-sporting events like the Hays County Fair Music & Crawfish Fest, and Cup of Hope Chili Cook-Off, plus the musical accompaniment that goes with them.
