An invitation to participate in Edible Austin's Pie Social at Austin Museum of Art Downtown on Thursday, Nov. 11, reminded me that it's time to think about holiday pies. Area bakeries, restaurants, and market bakers are gearing up to create delicious sweets to grace the holiday table. Everyone we contacted stressed the importance of ordering well in advance to ensure the availability of your family's favorite pie this Thanksgiving.
