Oolong Day at the Tea Embassy (900 Rio Grande, 330-9991; www.teatreasures.com) offers the opportunity to sample many oolong teas and experience the Gong Fu tea ceremony. All day Saturday, Nov. 10.

Longtime Manor-area farmers David Pitre and Katie Kraemer of Tecolote Farm will host an on-farm training program about organic-vegetable production and marketing in conjunction with the Sustainable Food Center. The farm tour/training session will offer detailed, practical information about sustainable farming in Central Texas and hands-on learning experiences for both beginning and established farmers. Cost is $45 per person or $70 per couple; some full or partial fee waivers are available. Reservations required. The Red Rapture dinner at Fleming's Steakhouse (320 E. Second, 457-1500) features a four-course meal paired with five red wines rated 90 points or more by Wine Spec-tator magazine. $95 per person; reservations are necessary. 6:30pm, Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The Texas Hill Country Wine & Food Fest­iv­al invites you to experience A November Night to Remember in the Victorian Room of the historic Driskill Hotel. The evening includes a seated gourmet meal prepared by Executive Chef Josh Watkins and a live auction of fine wines, artworks, private winery tours and tastings, and distinctive gift items. Austin's first-ever St. Jude Angels and Lone Stars Gala, hosted by KEYE's Ron Oliveira and KLBJ-AM's Ed Clements will be held at GSD&M's Idea City, 828 W. Sixth, with food provided by Dagar's Catering and music by country legend Charlie Daniels. Tickets are $150 per person.
