Sur la Table (the Domain, 833-6905, www.surlatable.com) joins forces with America's Second Harvest to fight hunger for the entire month of June. Both in the stores and online during the month of June, they will be offering subscriptions to Gourmet, Condé Nast Traveler, and House & Garden for $15 as well as selected merchandise, such as End Hunger spatulas ($6.95) and Second Harvest Kitchen Towel Sets (three for $9.95); 100% of the proceeds will go to America's Second Harvest.

Get some great ideas about what to drink this summer at UnWine Wednesdays at the Belmont (305 W. Sixth, 457-0300), where they'll feature summer reds (June 6), Pinot Grigio (June 13), summer whites (June 20), and Pinot Noir (June 27). All classes are from 6 to 8pm on Wednesdays and a one-time $25 pays for a lifetime membership, a personalized wine glass, discounted drink prices, and complimentary appetizers. June 6-27.

The Culinary Academy of Austin (6020-B Dillard Circle, 451-5743, www.culinaryacademyofaustin.com) is proud to announce a series of master classes presented by respected international chefs who will be visiting the school in the next two weeks. Chef Fulvio Marengo from the Liguria region of Italy will present two classes, the first offering four dishes from Langa on Saturday, June 2, for $70, and a selection of antipasti on Saturday, June 9, for $80. Register for chef Marengo's classes on the CAA Web site. Dessert aficionados and aspiring local pastry artists will want to consider a three-day professional workshop on Plated Desserts & Artisan Chocolate taught by renowned French pastry chef Jacquy Pfeiffer, 8am-4pm Monday, June 11, through Wednesday, June 13 ($795). The three-day class will offer a "hands-on, intensive workshop" on elegant plated desserts and white-, milk-, and dark-chocolate delights. It is necessary to register for Pfeiffer's workshop on his Web site, www.frenchpastryschool.com. Chef Pfeiffer will also present a Sugar Showpiece demonstration ($20) at 7pm on Monday, June 11. Reservations are necessary.
