SPAMTASTIC™ SPAMARAMA™

Austin's Quintessential Silly Bar Party

10. March 28, 1998

The 20th anniversary party was held at Auditorium Shores with an estimated 8,500 people reveling in a glorious spring day. Longtime security chief Joe Cook recalls, "It was a beautiful thing to see, a real cross-section of the population, everybody having a great time. It surely wasn't the old Austin because the crowd wasn't old enough!" 1998 saw the successful launch of SPAMARAMA™: The Cookbook by David Arnsberger and John Booker (available at Amazon.com) and a hefty donation to UCP.
