Village People

Dear Editor,
    I found the 2024 Best of Austin to be disappointing. It seems very obvious this "guide" is led by very young, party, LGBTQIA people. Heck yeah, get after it. I am accepting of all.
    I just found the categories and awards were so heavily acknowledging that side, the party, drag spots. They completely missed the mark with kids and family-friendly places and activities. That section was super small and not really geared towards any young/toddler kids. There is a category for best restaurant to bring your dog, but not your kid. It takes a village, but apparently that village is not here in Austin.
