Dear Editor,
I just read the article “Closing the COVID Gap at AISD,” [News, March 22]. The article was interesting and educational. It showed what AISD struggled with and the negative effects of COVID on students, teachers, and parents alike.
It also demonstrated how dedicated to education and helping the children and their families the staff at some of the “underperforming” schools are. A million meals delivered! Wow!
Although it described how detrimental COVID was to some students, the article ended hopefully. Thank you for keeping us up to date on how hard educators work.
