Re: "Can Austin Animal Center Be No-Kill and Humane?" By Lina Fisher [Oct. 6]
Please publish the number of behaviorally challenged dogs APA claims they took in from Austin Animal Center in FY 2022 and the number of animals APA intakes from outside of Austin and the five surrounding counties.
I don’t know why APA says they are looking for locations to hold animals. They recently purchased $4 million worth of property in Austin, 15 acres in Del Valle that will be a “pet adoption facility,” and 2 acres in Southwest Austin with a 3,000 square foot building.
