Open Letter to the Democrats of the Texas State Legislature:
Dear Texas Dems, my wife and I have three spare bedrooms, a sofa, air conditioning and some of the best beer and wine the US can produce. Should you need a place to stay during your escape from your authoritarian Trump Lite governor, we welcome you with open arms. As the most progressive state in the nation, some of you might even find you like it out here better and decide to stay. Of course, it would be better for democracy and maintaining election fairness if you ultimately stayed in Texas. Please give some consideration to our offer and know that we've got your back. As a Texas refugee and someone who prefers to have a positive light shine on my state of birth, I'll end by saying "Give 'em hell!"
