Dear Editor,
Can we stop giving guys like Paxton and Paul the “bad boys will be bad boys” treatment? The article [“Devils or Angels,” News, Jan. 8] was nicely detailed but also reeked of no big deal. Why are we so enthralled by guys, like Trump, who succeed by doing whatever the hell they can get away with.
Especially Paxton. Especially now that it appears he’s leading the charge via the Republican Attorneys General Association to overturn an election and incite fatal violence at the US Capitol. I’d like more detail on that.
