Giving Proper Credit

Dear Editor,
    Why did you not give writing credit to Danny Garrett for the beautifully written obituary of Micael Priest? [“Not Fade Away: Micael Priest,” Nov. 9.] Sincere and heartfelt, it was an excellent summation of Micael's life. Only thing missing? Proper credit for the author.

   Ed. note: The indeed beautifully written obit was submitted without a writing credit, and we didn't think to ask, because that's fairly standard practice. But we've confirmed that Danny did indeed write it. Thanks to all.
