Dear Editor,
The big question has long been, "Why is AISD on Fifth Street near Lamar?" ["Location, Location, Location," News, Jan. 26.] The main building has long been north central, near Highland Mall. The secondary question is, "Why has AISD not maintained what was a brand-new building?" The first question remains unanswered after nearly 35 years. The second question raises unsettling issues about the management and administration of AISD. They have an important mission, but do not seem to take it seriously.
