What's the Plan?

Dear Editor,
With a need for the Democratic Party to do some soul searching on the scathing election loss, it is imperative that our local Democratic leaders develop a plan. The GOP is now emboldened and poised to make good on threats to undermine the Affordable Care Act, defund Planned Parenthood, exploit any remaining fossil fuels, violate civil liberties, and more! Many of us are justifiably worried.
It feels like the Democratic agendas in the Texas metropolitan regions have been effectively rendered mute at the state level. Why? We need progressive leadership more now than ever to deal with a specific threat: Trump.
What is the Texas State Democratic Party plan now? What about the Travis County Democratic Party? Specifically, what do they want us foot soldiers to actually do? Check out their websites. Do I sense a continued lack of focus regarding the overarching Trump threat? Our local progressive leadership needs to stop licking its wounds and start making a plan where the rest of us can actually zone in.
