Give Him a Chance

RECEIVED Tue., Nov. 15, 2016

Dear Editor,
What can be so wrong about Donald Trump not having an ideological agenda [“Page Two: Where Do We Go From Here?” Nov. 11]?
Aren't politicians and pundits [being] driven by ideology a big part of why our country is a “tale of two cities” now?
I didn't vote for President-elect Trump, but if he can stand up to the ideologues of both parties and be pragmatic enough to help make things better for working people and seniors in the next four years, then I will vote for him in 2020.
Let's at least give him a chance to succeed (or fail). Whether or not liberals and conservatives wish to admit it, it's all about the economy after all.
