Dear Editor,
Welcome to ACL Live at the Moody Theater! Come be corralled and herded up a narrow, steep flight of steps to the entrance, stopped abruptly halfway up and, while teetering on the stairs, the crowd surging up behind you, accosted by security guards wielding metal detector batons who demand you take your phone and keys out of your pockets. Something is wrong with an Austin music venue treating its guests like cattle and criminals. We can do better. Perhaps walk-through metal detectors at the street level. Thank you.
