Kudos to the Chronicle for the piece on Dave Sullivan highlighting his community achievements throughout the years ["Then There's This: Time Flies," News, April 27]. Sullivan embodies all that is good about this great city and he will be missed. While I am not a close friend of Sullivan's – I met him several years ago working as an intern and continue to run into him at random events through the years – I can appreciate his achievements. His passion and knowledge always impressed me and seemed contagious. I would like to thank him for his great community service and his efforts to help develop Austin in a sustainable manner that will benefit all. Cheers, Dave; next Fat Tire is on me.
