We Still Need a Music Scene Column

Dear Editor,
    I would just like to support/echo/reiterate the opinion of reader Joshua Goodman as noted in this week's "One, Two, Tres, Cuatro" column [Music, Dec. 9]. While it is great to occasionally hear Margaret Moser wax about the golden age of Austin music "back in the day,” and I'm sure there should be a place for these reminiscences somewhere in the Chronicle, I really want to be able to see a solid page of Austin weekly music scene "news" in that spot each and every week. If Madge is "too old" to spend her time in the clubs, then for Odin's sake, please find someone who is young enough to take on this chore. You shouldn't have to look very far in this town to find several willing and capable applicants to fill this position.
