Dear Editor,
    Re: “Paul Not a Fierce Defender of Liberty” [“Postmarks,” Nov. 27]: Maybe Christian Wagner should read the Texas Constitution to learn that we don't need the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America to protect our rights of speech, religion, press, and peaceful assembly. In particular, sections 6, 8, and 27 of Article 1 deal with these important matters.
