Jack Ingram Does His Fans Proud

RECEIVED Sun., Sept. 20, 2009

Dear Editor,
I am writing about a review of Jack Ingram's new CD, Big Dreams & High Hopes [“Texas Platters,” Music, Sept. 18]. I just want to say that I have been lucky enough to see Jack three times this past summer. I live in Wisconsin and have known of Jack since he played years ago at a bar in Neenah, Wis., called Automatic Slims. To see Jack live is an amazing thrill. He puts on a heck of a show. The crowd always gets into his song “Barbie Doll.” I believe it is one of his most requested songs, and I think that is why he released it again on his new CD. I guess you have to love the music that Jack sings, and I think there are a lot of fans who do. And at his shows you would be in shock to see the new fans that purchase his Jack Packs that allow people an opportunity to meet Jack. Which I think is pretty awesome of him to do even now that he has a fan club. Jack has made us fans proud of him and his music and proud of his new CD, Big Dreams & High Hopes. He has made us fans proud to call ourselves his fans. And I would like to thank his wife for believing in him to get him to this point to share his dream with his fans and all the new ones who have jumped aboard. Koko Jack, you are awesome!
