Dear Editor, Oh, the synchronicity. KUT is dumbed down into terminal blandness, while NPR becomes another establishment "repeater." Some call it "National Petroleum Radio" and for good reason. As always, follow the money. Look at the corporate contributers and endowments to which NPR is beholden. But, there still are alternatives: Amy Goodman, Pacifica, GCN, and American Freedom Radio to name a few. Say what you want about Alex Jones, but in the last few weeks, he's interviewed Cindy Sheehan, Ralph Nader, and Pulitzer Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz. I'll sure take that over some former Bush administration hack I heard today on NPR justifying the imminent removal of any public option in the pending health care bill.
