One Nation, Under Debt

RECEIVED Tue., Feb. 17, 2009

Dear Editor,
Only 40% of Americans believe observations written 200 years ago by Darwin? Even with 200 years of science backing evolution over intelligent design. I was in such a good mood there for days, too. I mean, the government is finally on the right track. When Barack Obama swore to execute the president, I was ecstatic; however, that was corrected, and he will execute the office of the president. Will Obama pardon Bush for war crimes? Barack appointed Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, thank you very much! How wonderfully jubilant the Muslim world must be, knowing they must communicate with a female. It's OK though; the Russians might team up with the U.S. military against John Rambo and his trained al Qaeda. We should start withdrawing troops from Iraq, just in time for the Somali pirates and the release of the Gitmo detainees. There is a silver lining. The lobbyists were booted from Washington … kinda. Uncle Sam started reigning in the massively corrupt stock market, banking, and housing markets … sorta. They even placed an executive salary cap and tax cuts in the package … maybe. We even might start drilling for oil soon. Yet Washington Mutual needs another loan since they can't pay their bills? We know your pain, likely from all our denied loan applications. With education spending raised, these people that have been brainwashed for a couple thousand years can open their eyes. I know they can see the world as it changes and adapt. Before the Scopes Trial, scientists got a fair shake, as they were stoned or burned at the stake for heresy … not. President Obama is off to a great start. One nation, under debt, undiscriminating, with liberty and justice for y'all. In facts I trust!
Thank you,
Mike Homa
