Won't Be Surprised When Chicago Political Machine Takes Over Country

Richard Daley’s dream has been realized! A candidate groomed, funded (most of the way, at least), and positioned by the Chicago political machine has, with the support of millions of cleverly misled voters, taken his system national. A win for the machine, a loss for America. I expect to see congressional districts renamed “wards” and the representatives renamed “aldermen.” Congressional salaries will be referred to as “walking-around money.” Don’t be surprised when it happens; I certainly won’t.
