Elections Not Secure and Lack Integrity

RECEIVED Mon., Nov. 3, 2008

Dear Editor,
Observant and intelligent poll watchers, I and many others have talked about it since the 2000 presidential selection, and now you can watch a film made by those who tracked down the facts to substantiate the allegations:
If you have not read Vincent Bugliosi's article in The Nation titled "None Dare Call It Treason," which was later expanded into a book titled The Betrayal of America: How the Supreme Court Undermined the Constitution and Chose Our President, or What Went Wrong in Ohio: The Conyers Report on the 2004 Presidential Election, now you can see the film Stealing America: Vote by Vote.
You can download it for free at www.stealingamericathemovie.org.
Our elections are not secure and lack integrity – the result being illegal international wars and occupations, deaths of millions that could be alive today, financial ruin for many while a few profit in grotesque quantities by questionable means, destruction of the environment, and deep levels of administrative and corporate corruption just for starters.
It is not too late to get involved in this election, certainly a good time to work toward creating a future to make the changes to institute fair, transparent, publicly funded, paper-balloted elections.
To assist you, your friends, and neighbors to prepare for Election Day, check out this site for actions, strategies, and tools: www.stealingamericathemovie.org/getactive/index.html.
Peace in justice,
Bill Stout
