Any Party Partisan Is a Mafia Toady

RECEIVED Thu., Jan. 12, 2006

Dear Editor,
Rhode Island is the 11th state to legalize medical marijuana. The White House still insists that terminally ill patients who are in pain and cannot eat due to nausea can be arrested under federal narcotics law for using medical marijuana sanctioned by their state.
In other news, Rep. Jeff Flake (R - Arizona) is calling for the permanent removal of Tom DeLay as leader of the House, and not only major reform in the lobbying arena, but a complete makeover of the Republican Party (now being labeled the Corruption Party).
The link to these two stories is simply that our federal government is a mafia. The Bushes and their minions are a crime family. Until this fact is recognized and dealt with, there can be no meaningful reform and marijuana will continue to be a guarded mafia commodity.
The Democrats are not untainted; blackmail and threats are the modus operandi.
Anyone who says, “Shut up, our criminals are better (less evil) than 'their' criminals,” is not a pragmatist, but merely a mafia toady.
Sincerely,
Kenney C. Kennedy
