Why Do We Think Iraqis Will Vote When We Don't?

RECEIVED Tue., Nov. 15, 2005

Dear Editor,
While discussing the reasons for going to war is like beating a dead horse, I just keep asking myself how many Americans would have supported going to war and sacrificing our children so that the Iraqis could vote? This is an especially troubling question since most Americans are not all that interested in voting themselves (look at the voter turnout).
    Hmmm.
