Another Conspiracy Theory the 'Chronicle' Has and Will Not Cover: Trust Us, No Real Reporting Here!

RECEIVED Fri., Oct. 21, 2005

Dear Editor,
I wonder how committed to the truth the Chronicle is. Are you all afraid of real issues? How about doing research about how the IRS never answers questions about the section of law that requires citizens to pay income tax. How about the section of the Constitution that forbids it; that the 16th Amendment doesn't void that; that a 1040 is a subset of form 2555 and applies only to foreign interests. How about a touch of truth as we are getting close to "tax time.” I realize that everyone is afraid of the IRS, but that leads to the destruction of everything our founding fathers died for. Oh, and don't forget the case in Dallas where a federal judge refused to allow the jury to hear the parts of the law that exonerated the defendant. How about a little real reporting for a change?
