Help, Hope, and Pride, Not Force

RECEIVED Mon., Sept. 12, 2005

Dear Editor,
It seems as though force is the only thought to cross the mind of this administration. Whenever a problem arises, their solution is force. Disaster strikes so call in the military and force everyone into refugee camps or prisons. Frankly it seems to me that this adminstration thinks nothing of making a terrible situation worse.
Instead of trying to warehouse disaster victims in refugee camps or prisons, give them jobs. Let them earn money in cleaning and repairing their homes, towns, and cities. Give them help. Give them hope. Give them pride.
