Gudalupe and Airport Do Intersect

Amazing ... letter writer Gary L. Zimmer wrote, accusing the food editor of making errors [“Postmarks,” May 20]. There were errors, but they were Mr. Zimmer's. Guadalupe and Airport do intersect, and 6801 Guadalupe is a valid address. Gary says he has lived here since 1979, but he must not get out very often.

[Editor's note: Jim Walker is correct. Due to an odd quirk in the street numbering system, 6801 Guadalupe and 6801 Airport are the same thing. The official street address for El Pollo Feliz is 6801 Airport. The Chronicle has received several similar letters.]
