Classical music guru Russell McCulloh is back again, and Waterloo Records finally got him. I feel comfortable again about purchasing classical music CDs, knowing that I won't get stuck with an inferior recording. Russell seems to know about most of the recordings I request, or gives educated guesses for those he hasn't heard.
My wife and I and a friend from New York City visited Russell at Waterloo last week. Each of us purchased a number of classical CDs and ordered those not in stock. Our NYC friend also purchased seven "ethnic" (international) music CDs, claiming that he hadn't seen that large a variety in the N.Y. music store he frequented.
I hope the classical music selection will be expanded, and that it will be enclosed.
