E-Voting Scary

RECEIVED Wed., Sept. 24, 2003

[Assistant News Editor Lee Nichols replies: We already have. Go to austinchronicle.com and do a search on either "eSlate" or "Hart InterCivic." While the lack of a paper trail is indeed troubling, it is worth noting that many of the alleged security flaws brought up by e-voting critics of other systems do not exist in the Hart InterCivic system used by Travis County.]
