Bush Administration Attacks Judges

RECEIVED Mon., Aug. 25, 2003

Dear Editor,
Thursday, Aug. 21, NPR radio ran a story about various unnamed judges across the country, who, according to their conscience and sense of justice, hand down lighter sentences for drug offenders than prescribed by law. Often their reasoning is that taking illegal drugs is a victimless crime. ("Consensual crime" is a more accurate term – see the book Ain't Nobody's Business if You Do!) Well, this has our federal attorney general gnashing his teeth. He has ordered, in true 1984 form (with its colorless, suffocating totalitarianism), that these judges be reported by their peers. They must be rehabilitated for having an individual opinion! It has been reported in the mainstream press that the CIA has shipped drugs into this country, most notably to fund the Contras in the Eighties. So our government is providing the drugs which by one's being convicted of using they hope to send said user away for years; thereby procuring the cheap labor by which they plan to completely wreck the U.S. economy. We have enemies of America running this country, and they must not be allowed to succeed with their draconian conspiracy to establish a prison state.
Sincerely,
Kenney C. Kennedy
