Holiday Wish Lists 2006

Give 'til it helps: Part 2

Hey Austin,

We invited local nonprofits to ask for all the things they need to be able to serve our community with the impact they have. This is a great way, not only to enjoy an end-of-the-year tax-write-off, but to give back to our community in a major way.

These lists are edited as space dictates. Please call your intended benefactee(s) for details on what specific kinds/brands/sizes of things they need. Here's a big hint: They always need your cash and love (i.e., volunteer hours).

So have at it, Austin. Go share our bounty and show them all how much we appreciate their place in our community and the good they do all year long.

– Kate X Messer; list compiled by X, Meghan Ruth Speakerman, Meredith Barnhill, and Richard Whittaker
