Pride 2018: Planned Parenthood After Dark
What do Beatrix Lestrange, DJ GirlFriend, and Drag Out HIV all have in common? Well, they're all working to make this year's PPAD extra rad and extra queer to kick off Pride weekend here in Austin. Ticket proceeds go to Planned Parenthood Texas Votes.Fri., Aug. 10, 9pm. $25.

New Gay Softball Team Recruiting
A group of LGBTQ players from Softball Austin are startin' up a new team to complete in the D Division this fall and they're looking for ballers and batters now! Practices will begin the first Sunday in August. No skill required. If you have never played, there is a place for you in the team. D team will play two games every Sunday for six to eight weeks. Wish You Were Queer: House Beer Release
Black Star Co-op has embraced the Pride spirit! All weekend long they'll be sampling and slinging their new Wish You Were Queer beer (pilsner malt base, refermented with fresh Texas peaches and passionfruit purée). $1 from each pint sold will be donated to Out Youth!Fri.-Sun., Aug. 10-12, 11am-11pm
