Austin’s soul, blues, and gospel voice-of-truth, whose career goes back to adventurous Eighties alternative outfit Stick People and Nineties rock breakouts Storyville, added another brick to his indomitable discography this fall with October’s Life Will Humble You. The Euro-Americana chart-topping LP, featuring a near-spiritual version of Charlie Rich’s “Feel Like Going Home” and several Stephen Bruton cuts, finds Milligan linking with Dutch player/producer Jack Hustinx.
