Harvey Kagan memorial w/ Augie Meyer, Lofton Kline, Jonathan Tyler, & more

Sir Douglas Quintet bassist Harvey Kagan died on July 5, but as honored here, 5:30-10pm, by the likes of bandmate Augie Meyer, Pozo-Seco Singer Lofton Kline, rising Texan troubadour Jonathan Tyler, and more, he lives on. Wrote Margaret Moser: “Already a veteran of Doug Sahm’s bands, [Kagan] also did studio work with Gene Vincent and Dewey Martin as well as being one of San Antonio’s first-call bassists.” – Raoul Hernandez
