New Austin Film and Video, Part 1: Projections explores the interactions between traditional art practices and the film and video media. Co-curated by Gail Sanders and Erica Shamaly the exhibit features work by Francesca Talenti, Karen Skloss, and Aaron Valdez. The exhibit will continue through this weekend and next. "Part 2: Transmedia" will follow in March. @1/4 Hora Project Space (104 South Avenue C, Elgin, Texas ­ 512/281-4808); Fri (2/2)-Sun (2/4), 7-9pm.
